Song for the week:

Stay focussed and calm. Don't waste your time in futile arguments. Let your actions prove yourself and embrace your journey with all its beauty and scars.
With the number of rape cases soaring in India, I only wonder how are we really developing? The youth of an underdeveloped nation protest tland are successful in eradicating reservation-that's development.
All around there are so many mixed reactions of people towards Asifa's case. All the focus has been shifted to community and politics. Asifa and her family's grief is no where in picture. What has happened to that little child is cruel; inhumane. Those who committed the crime shouldn't still be in a trial. They should have been punished. Our justice system has provided them enough of time to mould the story as they wish to. But ehen all the measures are taken, will that be the end of rapes? I don't think so. Rapes can only stop when a man respects a woman, when his eyes won't scan her body lustfully. When kids report of being molested, parents should believe them and take necessary actions. Train kids to respect the opposite gender, because there are cases of even boys being kidnapped, molested and raped. We, as adults should realise that religion shouldn't divide us. Respect each others spirituality, but don't forget that you are humand first. I'm sure that no god would rejoice over anyone being kidnapped, raped and murdered. So don't do inhumane things in the name of religion. It has never been about religion or caste. Those are just reasons beneath which rests the ugly truth-lust, selfish desires, all unleashed.
Every Sunday you sing so many songs at church. Have you ever wondered how were these songs written? It is the worship of the song writer. Those anointed songs have been written under the influence of the Holy Spirit. Those songs minister to us, but that is not our worship.
Worship is not just singing songs, but it is offering yourself to God. Worship is a lifestyle; living in His presence each day and enjoying His freedom and love.
Every Monday, as I sit to pray, I use a song to worship. I sing that song for the entire week. I make it my song. That song isn't my worship, but the song that comes from my heart, the words of thanksgiving for the Lord is my worship. My words may not to be too fancy, but what matters is my heart. Am I being honest with God? Am I giving Him my best or am I giving Him my leftovers?
So, I will be sharing a song every Monday. Don't just listen to it. Don't just sing it. Let the song minister to you. Worship and let a new song rise from your heart to your Maker.
